Needless Demolitions
January 11th, 2012 Due to demolition of houses at the end of December 2011, four houses in good condition were demolished in Delmege Park numbers 141 to 145. Two of these houses had brand new central heating installed only a few months prior to this demolition also insullation of the walls was done at the same time. About 18 months prior to this all these four mentioned houses had all windows and doors replaced with brand new double glazing. How in the honor of god can Regeneration justify this. There was no effort made to salvage these very expensive fittings. A complete waste of money. Whoever was in charge at the top for all these demolitions in Moyross and other areas should be held accountable for a waste of the tax payers money at a time when the country is suffering severe austerity budgets. This has come to light to the MRA and had to outline these issues to publicise the scandalour waste in a bankrupt country said Tom Daly Chairperson of the MRA.
