Jobs Disappearing
Local businessman Raymond O Halloran of Speedline Engineering has hired locals since his business began, but unfortunately Mr. O Halloran's business is suffering and he has to let locals employed by him go and also put other local workers on a 3 Day week as there is a rival company from outside the city getting these contracts from Limerick City Councill and the Regeneration which we think is a disgrace said Martin O Halloran, Vice Chairperson of the MRA. Surely to god Limerick city Council and Brendan Kenny has to try and keep one of our local businesses alive by sharing those contracts fairly and keeping local workers employed. We hope logic provails and the people in charge of giving out these contracts can have some common sense and think about the local people of Moyross and other area's.
