Follow up on Documentary
The Moyross Residents Alliance wish to thank Martin Tinnelly and his crew for diverting a bad accident in the green in Delmege Park. The MRA asked them if they would put a man hole cover in as there was going to be some child either maimed or killed. Picture above shows debris and other hazardous materials that are health risks to the public There was already one child cycling along in the green and the bike went into the manhole, it is the luck of God that the bike went in first and not her otherwise she would have been ripped by the metal and debris that was left there from a previous demolition by Smiths Demolition. This can not be acceptable, The MRA done a documentary on this months ago, sent the dvd to Limerick City Council and one to Limerick Regeneration in which Michael o Kelly said he saw it so why was there nothing done about it? Credit to Tinnellys Demolition for cleaning and fitting the man hole cover. It is Disgraceful said Mr. Daly. Again we would like to thank Mr. Tinnelly for giving us a new man hole cover and also fitting it for us as Mr. Daly explained to him that there could be some child killed and he was very obliging and said ''we will do it for you and the people of Delmege Park'' . Finished! No more worries for the kids of Delmege. Thank you Mr. Tinnelly There is also another issue with Smiths Demolition as a homeowner in 30 Delmege Park in which his house was left in a disgraceful condition after Smiths and when Mr. Daly said this to Mr. O Kelly and outlined these issues in the house. Mr. Thomas o Kelly said he wont be intimidated by Mr. Daly which was disgraceful said Mr. Daly. They turned a perfectly good house into looking like a ran down house from the front with gully's put in wrong, water flooding at the gable end of the house, no storm water drainage and at the back of the house perimeter walls left in unstable condition. I am afraid if this keeps up people in the Regeneration areas are not going to have any faith in the process. If people are paid to do a job. Do it properly and safely. A storm drainage system that was said to be finished today. This is not tied into the storm drainage system and is highly unacceptable as this is already flooding as seen in picture.
